The fellowship’s central aim is to train future leaders in this field.

Scholl’s Center for Lower Extremity Ambulatory Research (CLEAR) at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Diabetic Foot Fellow. Our fellowships range in length from one to three years. Foci of fellowships, depending on the applicant, range from basic research to clinical research to robust reconstructive foot and ankle surgical training. Most candidates combine a hybrid of these foci.

Ideal candidates should posess an already strong academic background with a keen interest in academic development, inpatient and outpatient care, and research. While preference is given to podiatrists, we train fellows from a variety of medical, surgical, and research backgrounds.

This fellowship was developed to meet the unique and varied health, education and research needs of the field of diabetic foot care. Scholl provides care for patients throughout the Chicagoland area, nationally and internationally. CLEAR is one of the most dynamic and productive research teams in the world dedicated to the diabetic foot and wound care.

Applicants should forward a letter of intent with their curriculum vitae to the attention of:
